Dolphin Anty is an anti-detect browser aimed at teams that run large numbers of profiles for advertising, e-commerce and account management. How Dolphin Anty stores and assigns proxies

Dolphin Anty separates proxies from profiles. You can add a proxy once to the proxy list, giving it a type, host, port, username and password, and then attach it to any profile you like. The profile editor also accepts proxy details directly if you prefer to enter them inline. Either way a check action verifies the proxy and reports the exit IP and its country, and the profile can be told to take its timezone and geolocation from that IP.

This separation is convenient for mobile proxies because the host and credentials rarely change while the IP behind them does. You can rotate a ProxyMobile proxy as often as you like without touching the saved entry in Dolphin Anty.

Copying details from ProxyMobile

Sign in to the ProxyMobile dashboard and open the proxy you want to use. Each proxy displays its host, an HTTP port, a SOCKS5 port, a username, a password and a rotation link. Note down the host, the port for the protocol you intend to use, and both credentials. The rotation link stays in the dashboard or in your automation; it is not something Dolphin Anty needs.

Pick HTTP unless you have a reason to do otherwise. It is the simplest option and covers ordinary browsing completely. SOCKS5 is the right choice for profiles that carry UDP traffic or where you want name resolution handled on the proxy rather than your local machine.

Choosing sticky versus rotating

Dolphin Anty profiles are normally long-lived identities, and a long-lived identity wants a stable network address while it is active. ProxyMobile proxies keep their IP until you request otherwise, so the default behaviour is already sticky. Leave it that way during a session.

Between sessions, rotation is free and unlimited on every plan. Rotate before handing a profile to a colleague, after a long idle period, or whenever you simply want a fresh carrier address. Since the modem is dedicated to you, rotation never competes with other customers, and you can be confident the new address has not been used by anyone but you. For non-login research tasks, per-request rotation is available too, but for Dolphin Anty profiles we suggest rotating only while the profile is closed.

Running a team workspace across cities

One proxy per profile keeps everything auditable. If a profile needs attention you know exactly which modem it sits on, and rotating or moving that proxy affects nothing else. Use Dolphin Anty tags and statuses to mark the metro and carrier of each profile, and name the proxy entries the same way so the two views stay in sync.

Can I share one ProxyMobile proxy across my whole Dolphin Anty team?

The proxy accepts multiple connections, so several teammates can use profiles attached to it. All of them will share one address and one 15 GB daily allowance, so for unrelated accounts we recommend a dedicated proxy per profile.

Which port goes with which type?

The HTTP port is for the HTTP type and the SOCKS5 port is for the SOCKS5 type. They are different numbers on the same host. Mixing them is the single most common cause of a failed check.

Does rotating the IP require editing the profile?

No. Rotation happens on our side through the rotation link or the API, and the host, port and credentials in Dolphin Anty stay the same. Close the profile, rotate, and reopen it to use the new address.

How do I know the proxy is 5G rather than 4G?

The ProxyMobile dashboard shows the technology and signal for each proxy. Our 4G typically delivers 20–45 Mbps and 5G 50+ Mbps; Boston is 4G LTE only, while the other metros offer both.
